At our recent birthday bash we had the great pleasure of launching our brand new Resource Library.
We have a wide range of books available for Parent Carers to borrow, from books about looking after yourselves, books to help siblings understand your child with additional needs, educational materials as well as books offering practical advice and support for you and the whole family.
To borrow any of books (many not pictured), come along to the cafe in September (we return on Thursday the 6th), fill in a form and make a donation and borrow the books of your choice for up to three weeks. If you have not finished your books within that time, providing that no one is waiting for them, you may make a further donation and hold onto them for another three weeks. Unfortunately, due to non-return of some books already, we will ask people to cover the full cost of the books if not returned, or contact not made within the initial three weeks.
On a more positive note however, we are delighted to offer this resource, which we will keep adding to and hope that it proves valuable for local families. In addition, if you have materials that you think would be useful for our library, please do drop them into us, we would be so grateful.
We have to give our thanks to local company Nexus Open Systems for their sponsorship which bought not only a selection of the books, but also the lockable cabinet we keep them in.
If your firm is looking for IT solutions, services, support or training Nexus Open Systems deliver to organisations of all sizes that require true technical expertise to meet their goals. A comprehensive portfolio provides their customers with a competitive edge and they have a proven track record and a broad range of expertise to help enable and support your IT strategy on site and in the cloud.
